COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We are following all of the guidelines set out by Governor Baker and the CDC to ensure that our staff and customers have a safe and enjoyable experience, while getting some much needed self care!

When you arrive at the salon, please wait outside. Call, text or knock to let us know that you have arrived, but please remain outside until your name is called. Do not enter without a facemask.

Once inside you will notice some major changes. We have rearranged all seating areas to be social-distanced at 6 feet apart. Between all of the stylist chairs and hair-washing sinks we have in place plexiglass partitions. And all of our staff are wearing gloves and facemasks. Please keep your facemask on at all times while in the salon.

After every appointment we sanitize all contact points on the chairs, armrests and tables. And at regular intervals throughout the day all surfaces are sanitized and thoroughly wiped down.

If you are uncomfortable, or are immune compromised, a private session in the salon can be arranged. Please call the salon at: 508-533-5448 to make an appointment.

Rob I can't thank Rob and the rest of the team at Shear Magic enough for providing a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience, to get a haircut. The check in process has been quick and easy, the studio is extremely clean, there is hand sanitizer everywhere, and the barbers and stylists take every precaution imaginable to make sure their clients are safe. I was pretty hesitant about coming in with Covid-19 Pandemic, but after reading about the precautions they put in place, and seeing it first hand, I cannot wait until my next appointment!

Maliwan I anxiously awaited the reopening of salons last spring and returned to Shear Magic in early June. It was clear from the moment I arrived that they were taking every possible precaution. I was greeted at the door, temperature taken and hands sanitized. All the staff were masked and the stations separated quite a distance from each other. I have returned several times since then and all of these precautions are still in place. My stylist, Maliwan, along with her co workers, go above and beyond to keep their clients safe AND make them feel beautiful!!

Rekha I called Shear Magic on a Friday for a Saturday appointment. Through Facebook recommendations, Rekha was recommended for a blow out. I am a first time customer there and could not be happier with my results with Rekha. She's friendly and very welcoming. Great experience that was last minute. Would go back for a blow out!

Nancy I have been a Shear Magic client for nearly four years and I love my hairdresser Nancy Diaz. Even before the Pandemic, I was impressed with the folks that work there. They are professional, friendly and welcoming. And I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. I returned to Shear Magic when they re-opened this summer and felt very comfortable and secure with the changes they had made to make it safe for their clients and staff. There are dividers throughout the salon including at the reception desk, between each hairdresser's work station and between the shampoo chairs. All employees and clients are required to wear face masks and occupancy in the salon is limited. There is hand sanitizer available to all and the receptionist even wipes off your credit/ debit card after using it! Each work station and the shampoo area are sanitized after each client. The owners and staff have done an exemplary job of making Shear Magic a safe place to visit and to work and I commend them for their ongoing efforts. I feel safe when I am there, always enjoy the time spent there, and highly recommend Shear Magic.
